Luke 6:17-19 AMPC [17] And Jesus came down with them and took His stand on a level spot, with a great crowd of His disciples and a vast throng of people from all over Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to listen to Him and to be cured of their diseases-- [18] Even those who were disturbed and troubled with unclean spirits, and they were being healed also. [19] And all the multitude were seeking to touch Him, for healing power was all the while going forth from Him and curing them all saving them from severe illnesses or calamities.

It is important to get God's Word, which is His will, IN you concerning healing.

Hear ye, hear ye was used in days past as a call for silence and attention before an im-portant announcement. The town crier, who was an officer of the court, traditionally used this phrase. Seven times in the book of Revelation chapters 2 & 3 Jesus says, "He that hath an ear, let him hear..." One way to look at what Jesus said in the book of Revelation is who-ever will be silent and pay attention, let him hear. In other words something very im-portant is being announced, something of which every detail is vital and has the potential to change your story.

Paying attention is an attitude that makes known the importance that you place on the speaker. In Luke 6 it says a great crowd of His disciples and a vast throng of people came to listen ('hear' in KJV). By giving full attention to Jesus they declared that what He says has great value with respect to curing diseases as well as curing those disturbed or troubled by unclean spirits. Jesus is the living word of God and though we were not there on the sea coast that day, if we will pay attention to His word the same touch of power flows which cures severe illnesses and calamities is available to us today! Lk.6:18 AMPC says even those who were disturbed which literally means to interfere with normal arrangement or functioning of; to cause to feel anxious, interrupt sleep, relaxation or privacy were healed. So “those who were disturbed” could be translated, “those who’s normal functioning was in-terfered with, which caused them to feel anxious, their sleep being interrupted and as a re-sult they were publicly humiliated.” Today is the day of restoration of normal functioning, relaxation, peace and sweet sleep for those listening carefully. Notice the power went out from Him activated only by the touch of faith. The free flow of the power is a sure indica-tion of His approval. ALL who approach Him with their whole hearts, hearing Him are healed.
